Updated 03/10/2021
The practice welcomes Brett Meador to the team March 2022. Brett graduated from Messiah College in 2013 and completed the Physician Assistant Program at University of the Sciences in 2017.
Brett worked at the UPMC Emergency Department as well as AllBetterCare Urgent Care prior to joining JSG. In spring 2020, Brett was awarded the Clinical Quality and Patient Experience Recognition Award within the UPMC Pinnacle System. The award honored his outstanding clinical expertise, consistent use of safety practices with quality outcomes and excellence in patient experience.
“I like patient care because you get to meet a lot of interesting people that you would otherwise never have met,” Brett said. “It provides a lot of perspective and intrigue. At Jackson Siegelbaum, they clearly strive to create a positive work culture, which can go a long way. That ultimately results in better patient care.”
Brett is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. He is also certified in Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
Brett grew up on a dairy farm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He is looking forward to staying in the Harrisburg area and narrowing his PA Practice to the GI specialty. In his free time, Brett enjoys spending time in the food and procuring, processing, and cooking field-to-table food.
