Benign Tumors of the Stomach
Image 1
Inflammatory Polyp
This image shows inflammatory polyps in the outlet of the stomach. The black hole in the distance is the pylorus through which food particles pass into the intestine. These whitish tumors could be cancerous. However, they were removed and the pathology report confirmed that they were benign inflammatory polyps. The cause of these tumors is not known but it is known that they do not become malignant.
