		Malignant Tumors  Image 1 Image 2 Lymphoma of the Colon A lymphoma is a malignancy of the lymph system. These tumors generally are more favorable than the usual garden variety of cancer in the colon called carcinoma. Still, a tumor the size as seen in Images 1 and 2 will usually need to be removed by surgery. Chemotherapy and irradiation are other highly effective forms of treatment for lymphoma. Both of these images are of the same tumor as seen from different points.
